Highlights of the manifesto were:
So whether you are a pensioner, ex-servicemen, student, Govt. employee, daily wage worker, professional or a business man, we would like you to share your concerns, demands or wishlist with us. We would be sharing your wishlist on DevbhoomiHimachal blog, all social media networks and with Himachal CM via write to CM program. Who knows someone pays heed to your wishlist. Highlights of the manifesto were:
- The BJP promised a transparent transfer policy to avoid unnecessary harassment to any employee along with promise of giving maximum benefits of the Sixth Pay Commission of Punjab to both employees and pensioners.
- For 10 lakh unemployed educated youth there is talk of creating employment opportunities through tourism and hydro-power generation.
- Declaring main roads as national highways and provision of clean drinking water.
- The manifesto also promised a lot for ex-servicemen for whom employment opportunities will be created. Efforts will be made to set up separate health centres and CSD canteens for them at district headquarters.
