Geologist, Veterinary officers, Lecturers vacancies in Himachal Govt.

Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) has invited applications for following posts:

• Geologist,  Class-I   (Gazetted)  On  Contract Basis.): No of posts (2), Consolidated contractual amount @ INR 22,200/- per month (Minimum of the pay band + grade pay) (A)  ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION:-  i)  M.Sc. Degree in Geology or Applied Geology or its equivalent from a recognized University or an Institution duly recognized by the H.P./ Central Government or Diploma in Applied Geology from Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad. ii)  7  years field  experience  in  independent  Geological  mapping  &  mineral prospecting of economic strategic and rare minerals.
• Manager,  Class-I (Silk Mill, Nurpur), Number of Post:- 01 post (General), Consolidated Salary @ INR 25,000/-, Age: 45 years and below. Essential Qualification:- Graduate or Equivalent with Managerial/Supervisory experience of 5 years in Silk  Filature/Silk Weaving in organized sector. Preference shall be given to persons with a Degree or Diploma in Textile Engineering from a recognized institution. 
• Assistant  Public Relations Officer, Class-II, Number  of  Post(s):-  01  post  (Reserved  for Public Relations Officer, Class- Hearing impaired (Partially Deaf) of H.P.) II (Non-Gazetted) (Backlog post) Pay Scale: INR 10300-34800/- +  4200/- (GP) Age: Between 18 and 45 years.  Essential Qualifications:- (1) Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent from a recognized University.
  (2)  Bachelor  of  Journalism  and  Mass  Communication/  Public  Relations  or  its equivalent or Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism and Mass Communication/ Public Relations from a Recognized University
• Assistant Controller,  Legal  Metrology,(Weights  &  Measures)  Class-II (Non-Gazetted)  (On  contract basis) Number of Posts:- 02 posts (General) Pay Scale: Rs.10300-34800/- +   4200/- (GP) Age: Between 18 and 45 years. Essential Qualification:- Should be a Graduate of a recognized University in Science (with Physics as one of the subjects)/ Technology/ Engineering.
• Veterinary  Officer, Number  of  Posts:-  26  posts  (General  Ex-SM  of Veterinary  Officer,  Class-I  HP=03, SC Ex-SM of HP=02, SC WFF of HP= 01, ST (Gazetted)  (On  contract  of HP=02, OBC of HP= 16, OBC Ex-SM of HP=01, basis)  OBC WFF of HP=01) (backlog posts) Contractual amount ` 21,000/- (initial of the Pay band `15600/- + ` 5400/- (Grade Pay) Age: 45 years and below.  Essential  Qualification:  -(i)  Should  possess  a  degree  of  B.V.  Sc.  and  AH  (Bachelor  of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry) from a recognized University as laid down under the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984 (Act No.52 of 1984).
  (ii) Should be registered with the State Veterinary Council under the Indian Veterinary Act, 1984 (Act No.52 of 1984) 
• Assistant Professor  (Neuro surgery)  Class-(Gazetted)  INR 37400- M.Ch. Neuro Surgery 2/3 years Professor  (Neuro  (UR)  67000/-   course  as  recognized  by  M.C.I. surgery)  Class-I  (for  Dr.  8900/-  after  M.S.  Surgery,  or  M.B.B.S. (Gazetted)   RPGMC,  (Grade  and 5 years direct course leading   Tanda).  Pay)  to M.Ch. Neuro Surgery. AGE: 45 years and below. Essential Qualifications:-
  (i)  A recognized medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or part-II of the third schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act-1956. Holders of educational qualification(s) included in part-II of the third schedule should also  fulfill  the conditions  stipulated in  sub-section (3) of section-13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (ii)  Post-graduate and post-doctoral degrees as mentioned in Part-A of Annexure-II or
  its equivalent qualifications in the concerned Super-specialty (as mentioned above). (iii)  At least 3 years teaching experience as Lecturer / Registrar / Demonstrator/ Resident after doing post-graduation in the concerned specialty in any recognized Medical College. 
• Medical Physicist, Number of Post(s):- 01 post (General) Physicist,Class-I (Gazetted)  (For IGMC Shimla) Age: 45 years and below. Pay band ` 10300-34800/- ` 5400/- (Grade Pay)
  (a) Essential Qualification:-
  (i)  A  Bachelor’s  Degree  in  Science  with  Physics  as  one  of  the  subject  or Master’s Degree in Science from a recognized University; and (ii)   A  post  graduate  diploma  in  Radiological  Physics  or  its  equivalent  duly recognized  and  approved  by  Atomic  Energy  Regulatory  Board,  Mumbai (AERB), Bhaba Atomic Research Centre, Mumbai (BARC). OR   Master Degree in Medical Physics or Radiation Physics from a recognized University  and  approved  by  Atomic  Energy  Regulatory  Board,    (AERB), Government of India.
•  Lecturer-Computer  Engineering  ,  Number  of  Posts:-  08posts  (03=UR,02=  UR Ex-Serviceman  of  H.P.,01=OBC  of (Polytechnic) Class-1 (Gazetted)  H.P.,01=S.T. of H.P. & 01= S.C. of H.P. (On Contract basis)   Pay band   `15600-39100+5400G.P  Contractual amount ` 21000/P.M  Age:  45 years and below Essential Qualification:- 1   Class  Bachelor’s  Degree  in  Computer  Engineering  or  Computer  Science  &Engineering from a recognized University or from an institution duly recognized by the H.P. Government/ Central Government.
