Ever thought that famous old Hindi film Dada having popular song " Dil ke tukde tukde kar ke muskara ke chal diye..." was a work of a Himachali. Yes, It was Jugal Kishore a Himachali by birth.



Jugal Kishore belonged to a small village Thakurdwara near Palampur(Kangra) in Himachal Pradesh. He lost his father at an early age. Jugal Kishor was from a very poor family so for livelihood he went to Mumbai(Bombay). He made a few Punjabi and Hindi films and achieved the biggest success in his Silver Jublie movie "DADA". He died of a heart attack in 1979. He as a Director, Producer created following films:
