Project Investigator (Dravyaguna Expert), Botanist (Taxonomist) & Pharmacognist at Joginder Nagar (HP)

Society for Development of Vanaspati Van, Himachal Pradesh (Department of Ayurveda, Himachal Pradesh) has invited applications on plain paper mentioning complete biodata and CV  from the eligible candidates for the has  posts of Project Investigator (Dravyaguna Expert), Botanist (Taxonomist) & Pharmacognist to be based
at Joginder Nagar, Distt. Mandi on contract basis under the GOI funded project “Centre of Excellence in Dravyaguna and Medicinal Plants at RI in ISM, Joginder Nagar, Distt. Mandi” and should reach by 29.03.2012 in the office of the General Secretary-cum- Director Ayurveda, Society for Development of Vanaspati Van, Himachal Pradesh, Directorate of Ayurveda, #26, SDA Complex, Kasumpti, Shimla-9. These posts will be filled for one year in the first instance and may be extended up to five years or project period, whichever is earlier on the basis of the work and performance of the candidate.


The essential qualifications and other conditions for these posts are as follows:
 
1. Project Investigator (Dravyaguna Expert): 1 (Total emoluments= Rs.
22200 + DA (as applicable) per month+annual increment as per Govt. norm)
A) Essential qualification:
i) M.D. Ayurveda.
ii) Five years experience in the field of Dravyaguna.

B) Desirable qualification:
i) Specialization in the field of Dravyaguna.
ii) Knowledge of customs, manner, dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the Pradesh.

Age for direct recruitment: Not less than 21 years and not more than 65 years.
